About Steve
As someone who prefers to be behind the camera, I’m not always good with having the spotlight on me. Here are a few fun facts about me and a few photos where I’m not behind camera.
I moved to Pittsburgh in 2008.
I was born in Philly (don’t hold it against me), went to school at Penn State, met my wife Amanda there, and moved to Pittsburgh in 2008.
We’ve lived in the East End since 2013. We have 2 kids, 2 cats, and an unhealthy obsession with football.
I ran an internet marketing business for 16 years and started a photography business in 2024.
I am not Polish.
Despite having the last name Wrzeszczynski, I’m actually 0% Polish. (It’s pronounced Ra-zin-ski!)
This was a fun revelation to learn at the age of 34 due to a DNA test from 23andme.
While I do still enjoy pierogis, I am mostly Italian.
I’ve been to 41 states.
And 14 countries.
As a family, we love to travel. We will eventually get to all 50 states and plan to visit a lot more countries.
We’ve been all over the world, from Australia to Taiwan to Europe to Costa Rica. We even took our 1 and 4 year olds on a road-trip across the country.
I bought my first camera at 14.
Although I bought my first camera at 14, it took me over 20 years to decide to start a professional career.
When I started thinking about what type of studio I’d setup, my first and only thought was to focus on newborns.
It felt right from the start and I love being able to capture a baby’s first moments and provide a timeless keepsake.
